Just been for my SW weigh-in and I lost just 1lb. After loosing 7.5lb last week it was so disappointing. I only expected 2-3lb, but 1 hardly seems all the effort. I've been good all week, and done a total of 3 hrs 10 mins excercise.

Then I went to Mr T's whoopsie hunting and that was a wash-out as well.

Don't worry Debs, you lost so much last week and you're still going in the right direction.

In my experience there are two main things that can affect your weigh-in; one is where you are in your cycle as it's common to retain a bit of water just before your period, and the other one is how much you have drunk during the day - is it possible you were a bit dehydrated at your first weigh-in?
  • There should be a white A4 sized sign stuck on the till right in front of you? If things don't add up etc?
Oh my god, thank you so much for this :A:A:A
Hubby was made to feel a criminal, (he is quite the defiant type) and should he know he is in the right will always stand his ground (very manly but sometimes gets us in trouble:eek:)
Manager bloke just said to the sa "If he don't leave , just call the police", and along the lines of "that aint corporate policy" Hubby stood his ground and has been there for about an hour!!
All along it was staring him right in the face:o Thank you so much for your help:A

Evening guys - well, what a day I have had :(:( and this is the first chance I've had to post

All ok with Mam today BUT Mr 3Dogs rang me this late this morning to say he'd been awake all night with pain in lower abdomen and feverish too. He'd got the pain over the weekend, on the right side, and thought he'd pulled a muscle walking the dogs in the deep snow as well as having to lift Bess up when she got 'snow-bound' and carry her part way, especially as it seemed to be from side to side yesterday, but it was all on the right side last night

I told him what to do, so he rang the kennels and they came and picked up the dogs and then rang 999 at 2.15'ish. Next I heard was from my disabled nieghbour/friend, as I'd told him to get ambulance guys to leave keys with her, that she had the keys and Mr 3Dogs just gone off in ambulance. Then a text from him at 3.15 to say he'd been taken to Kings Lynn hospital and would let me have further details later

i have spend tonight trying to get info from A & E but all they would tell me was that he was waiting to be admitted to surgical ward, for exploration op. Mr 3Dogs later text me to say it was suspected appendicitis and waiting to be taken down to theatre, but later they said that op was scheduled for 10 tomorrow unless pain gets worse during night

I have changed my tickets for going back from Thursday to tomorrow Wednesday, and a friend is going to pick me up from the station as it is a 25/30 minute drive home. Then I can get up to the hospital to see him and find out what's going on and how he is

Oh dear, it doesn't rain, it pours comes to mind. Just after he'd just about got over his sciatica too :(:(

Will do a little catching up now as I am all sorted for the morning

    hi 3dogs

    3chins up:D

got these @ £1 in t express today.

Thanks - interesting. Has set me wondering because they were definitely £2.55 in my store and are showing at that on-line. But in my local Express the Muller single yogs/corners are 31p, but in the bigger store in town and on-line they are 61p. A little while ago T's flagged up that they would be offering differential pricing/different offers in different areas based on their perceptions of spending patterns - do you think it may have started? Because big offers like eg beans for £1 or hafl-price Mullers used to be nationwide not local.

Makes planning for glitches/DTDs possibly that bit harder, but more scope for T to get it wrong?

  • Watch out for them popping up in Homebargains!!;)

I made mine before xmas & haven't got round to icing it yet will it have gone off now? I haven't added any booze to it:eek:

I don't know. The fruit in the cake is pre soaked in booze so if you've kept it in an airtight container it should be ok.

Given the recent dip in share price, expect mr t to be on the ball a bit more with price checking as i'm sure they employ IT literate people to keep an eye on "the bleed"..as well as the competitions prices...
