Fudge_Cake wrote: »I never spend £40 either....it takes a good deal of planning but I regularly maximise coupon use to take a £40 shop down to £20 ish.
I planned my shop for this week last night. I've included 2 x 8 pks Activia yoghurt which are MBG, plus a few bits and pieces that have coupons eg: Aunt Bessie's and most importantly items that will compare favourably with Asda for jtd. I've got a £40.34 shop down to £20.08 minus a jtd from last week's shop (£5.70) = £14.38 and I'll get another jtd back (weirdly exactly the same value of £5.70)
As I said, takes some planning but well worth it
thanks! I better get planning thenor I could buy an expensive item plus shopping then return

Blushing. Its more for myself and son really. It was such a big part of our life and obviously my family have a tendancy to talk about it quite a bit. I want him to be able to read the truth when he is ready.
Also i think it could serve as a warning to a lot of people, social services and the judicial system. Its not like eastenders!
If i could make some money from it then obviously that would be a bonus to pay off fees.
:T:TBravo!:T:T I think it's one of the most crucial parts of life, to reflect on the bad experiences and draw as much strength from them as possible. To be able to look back and think 'I did that and I'm still standing. I SURVIVED!' is the absolute best thing in the world:A

Was anyone just watching SuperScrimpers? I was wondering what website that was they were using to look at how much of your mobile phone free minutes/data you use? thanks
On the superscrimpers web page it lists these 2 websites:
mobilife.com
billmonitor.comSomething unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I was thinking more of a proof reader. I did start it last year and was in contact with a publisher. He gave me some constructive critism! He 'liked' what i submitted but was more about physical abuse rather than the physchological. I truely think it would be interesting to read the things myself and ds1 went through were extraordinary. You wouldnt believe it even if you read it!
I think i need to do a lot of tweeking so if anyones up for it? Might take a while though!
Another volunteer here!! My friends Mum wrote a book of her life story and had it published (kinda wished she'd let me proof read that because there were so many mistakes).A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist0 -
mobile phone wise, i am with virgin, on their £10 something tariff, that I have gone over once, and that was when i was on holiday in september and my flight home got cancelled.
I have never gone over my text or call allowance, but i cant remember what it is!
This is why i dont have an i-phone. Yet. My mobile bill would double at the minimum!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Just an idea for using your £5 off £40 spend voucher, if you have no way what so ever of using it ask any members of your family/friends if they would like it if they are going to be spending more than £40 - on the understanding that they give you back the voucher that they receive from doing there shopping and then you get to use it next week, helps both of you out - i have done this with a friend of mine previously and it works a treat - especially if you only do a big shop once a fortnight

Quote of the day from ds2, aged 5
Did you know caterpillars go to nursery?
They climb up a tree and go in the room and play dressing up.
Sorry, i dont follow.
Their nursey is full of dressing up and they come out like beautiful butterflies. Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0
