Hang on to it and wish for a mega glitch next week or try and use it for higher price DTD spot?
Or donate it to the first person you like the look of in the checkout queue with a big shop?0 -

I never spend £40 either....it takes a good deal of planning but I regularly maximise coupon use to take a £40 shop down to £20 ish.
I planned my shop for this week last night. I've included 2 x 8 pks Activia yoghurt which are MBG, plus a few bits and pieces that have coupons eg: Aunt Bessie's and most importantly items that will compare favourably with Asda for jtd. I've got a £40.34 shop down to £20.08 minus a jtd from last week's shop (£5.70) = £14.38 and I'll get another jtd back (weirdly exactly the same value of £5.70)
As I said, takes some planning but well worth it'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

Im an awful cook so butter should be a challenge!
all you need is a mixer and a big bowl
chuck it in, mix it, mix it and mix it some more. Your mixer will want to kill you but keep at it, it will start to seperate, you drain off the buttermilk, rinse with water a couple of times until it runs clear and hey presto, you just made butter!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I might do it one day though, it would likely be a cathartic experience
Debs I'm watching it on +1 so I'll let you know
Blushing. Its more for myself and son really. It was such a big part of our life and obviously my family have a tendancy to talk about it quite a bit. I want him to be able to read the truth when he is ready.
Also i think it could serve as a warning to a lot of people, social services and the judicial system. Its not like eastenders!
If i could make some money from it then obviously that would be a bonus to pay off fees. Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -

Just to change the subject so we dont go getting into trouble!!.....
My OH has now gone up North and we are sitting tight to try and sell house here. Im going to have some time on my hands, glitches depending, but i think im going to have a stab at writing a book. Does anyone read Cathy Glass and the sort, mysery memoires?
I'm not very well read ... besides which I don't get the chance to read these days (other than this thread that is).
When I did read it was mostly Patricia Cornwell/James Patterson et al.0 -

If you want to freeze it don't add salt, if you want to use it fresh you can add some. I added way too much so be careful!
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
Sounds more like what we are after!
My sister though, she got married and only knew about 10 mins before via live tv news!!!
My mom arranged everything. Everyone was sworn to secrecy. It was at a beautiful hotel. She was told that she was going to a works christmas party as her bf and our dad and brother all worked together.
When she turned up everyone was hiding inside. On the driveway was central news. They asked my sis and her bf if they minded walking around the lake holding hands for a promotional feature. When they got to the bridge, there were swans nderneath that coincidentally were making hearts with their heads and necks.
Her bf got down on one knee and proposed, she laughed and said yes, then he told her it was now!
The dress was easy, we had a girls day out and coaxed everyone in to 'pretend t te assistant' who knew all about it!
Mom knows better than to try hat on me. Id be in biggest mood if i thought everyone had lied to me!!!'!
OMG I would just die if anyone did that to me!! It's soo lovely for it to happen to others but i would be so horrified lol i dont like the limelightHello my name is nahteb20 and i am a T's Glitch & Bargainaholic.......0 -
