:rotfl::rotfl: I have looked online to see if i can see if my Tesco manager is called Mark but couldn't find out. Was tempted to ring the store
There is a board in mine behind CS with all the staff names and pictures , just next to the sliding doors that are hiding the DTD policy.
When I visit tomorrow to buy some more Gold BlendI shall check the manager's name. Disappointingly it's not on the website but I live in hope!
I hope he's not called Mark or I won't be able to keep a straight face!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -
Saw a big aisle-end display for the Denby china @ £85 a set with the black pepper and teal ones on display. In the kitchenware/china section there were a couple of cool blue sets with a sel of £42.50.
Picked up a couple and was charged £85 each. The CS lady 'kindly' offered to let me have them at the £42.50 price until I pointed out the DTD offer on the board behind her. She tried to argue that it was a different barcode but I said that I was sure that the wording 'Denby Everyday, 12 piece, cool blue' was more important than a barcode at which point she gave in.
Went to another store and got an ipod dock/speaker thingy with a sel of £39 for which I was charged £79.97. Was given DTD with no need for a discussion which made a nice change. The sel was dated mid-December!If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -

That does remind me that I did once post a prawn back to M&S, quite seriously. I bought a prawn cocktail with other stuff for dinner years ago and when I opened the prawn cocktail it had little black bits on one of the prawns, so I put it in a little clear bag and posted it to CS with a letter and they did send me a voucher as I sent the whole receipt and said it for an anniversary dinner and the whole evening was ruined as prawn cocktail was my DH's favourite;)
Makes me shudder thinking about prawns and black bits:( I do like prawns but always avoid ones that haven't been deveined (a polite expression I think to mask the reality:rotfl:). Causes me a few problems when it may seem rude not to eat them even though I know it won't hurt me:(Awaiting a new sig0 -
Just came across this on Mr A's website (while wasting my time looking for the local store manager's name just in case)...
I wonder how much they were paid to model this!!!

As I haven't seen anyone else mention it I'm not sure whether this is just peculiar to my store/region or nobody else has tried the Teal HTH:)Awaiting a new sig0
