Just been looking at the who we are list and lots of posters not listed yet.
With so many newbies joining recently, I wondered whether everyone knew about it and whether it needed a bit of a bump?

So pleased to report my other scanner is back working after months offline in my Extra. Saw a lady using it, couldn't believe it so grabbed first item I could find next to it. Sleeping Bag Liners, SEL £2 scan at £7. :j
Pure fluke! There are two barcodes, exact same product, slightly different swing tag, both scan at higher price. The ones I picked end 3230 and didn't match SEL but manager agreed DTD. In a grey/black mesh drawstring bag.

Nice little DTD for any campers out there.

SO pleased. Thank you Mr T.

Afternoon. Popped on quickly this afternoon before going out to Mr T for some basics. Noticed this post, so had a look while I was there. SEL of £7 in my extra. They have been £2(SEL) for quite a while along with some of the other reduced camping/outdoor stuff stuff. Had been thinking about buying a couple the other day as £2 was a good price. Noticed that a lot of these camping/outdoor bits and bobs that were reduced have gone back to much higher prices. Worth looking at for those who are interested? HTH:)

Afternoon all hope all goes well niki and well done purdita, just picked my ds up from school and the zip on his coat has broke was a little mad as i bought it from tescos the last week in november so he has only had a little over 2 months wear out of it. Anyway thought id phone hq up and tell them how rubbish there kids coats were this is the second one that the zip has broke, anyway she took the barcode off me and said they were very sorry and that they would send me out a money card for the amount the coat cost result.

Just had a bit of good news.
I was medically retired from the NHS two years ago but was then turned down flat for my ill health pension.
Well to cut a long story short, I've at last been awarded it at the higher rate as they have finally agreed that what I have (Bilateral Menieres Disease) is incurable and it's very unlikely I'll ever be well enough to have a "proper" job again.

So I have had the lump sum and the backdated pension payments paid into my account today.....and it's for more than I expected....not enough to be life changing, but enough to buy myself to a new (ish) car (not a Merc or BMW though!!)

I've got a fab GP who has supported me in appealing their decision and I'm just wondering if it's OK to send her a little something as a token of appreciation....not money...but something else.
Celebrate can you let me know if this is allowed?

Fantastic news Purdita:T Well done for perservering and enjoy spending it xx

    Might interest some people.....

Tommee tippee electric breast pump was on offer at 1/2 price £49.99 originally £99.99, the SEL reads offer ends 5/2/12.

I'll be hunting one of these tonight as my wife is due 5th March

I might be wrong but i am sure this is extended until 14th in line with other baby event bits.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
