I know but I wasn't going to say it
Is it you that listens to LBC ? Did you hear the man last night flogging his book about Les Dawson & then Les Dawson's widow phoned up & said had he ever met Les & he said No. Boy was she angry
I thought the presenter was very unprofessional about it all & the author sniggering was
No I missed that - I caught some of Anthony Davis's show (but not much) couldn't been very interesting as I can't remember what they were talking about!0 -

Sorry but my 4 year old and 2 year old still do this on occasion but mostly to each other. At that age if they did anything like that I put them down on floor, told them they hurt mummy and didn't pick them up again until stopped0 -

I am such a procrastinator! I still haven't done much of my essay, only a (rubbish) intro! The weekend will be a looooong and boring one for me!Hi all....feel like I know you all. Long time lurker I'm afraid. But in my defence never cleared the shelves and always shared. Love the community spirit and just decided to register. Please forgive any newbie gaffes.:o

All up-to-date with the thread now
I went to see Mam at tea-time and she was quiet on her chair in her room, already tucking into her scrambled eggs with chopped tomatoes, and then the carer brought her a yoghurt for her pud. she had, however, been leading them a merry dance all day. When they were getting her washed and changed in the morning, she was shouting at them and told them to stop and to !!!!!! off - now, I should point out that mam is a very quiet person normally and has never never swore and I don't mean that she never swore in front of us 3 kids, she never swore. Then the 'good carer' B sat with her for a while and she was shouting sometimes and laughing the others. In the afternoon she'd had a good laugh with B who was sitting with her again, listening to the noises coming from Mam's tummy
Anyway, she was good while I was there and they got her changed and into bed after dinner before putting the nebuliser on her. They never know which person they are going to get when changing or moving her, but it was the giggly, laughing Mam they got tonight and I had a big smile on my face as I waited outside while they were in with her. She was settled after her meds when I left
No shopping anywhere for me today, so nothing to report on that front, but I'm ready for a drink now, so I'll just help myself to a Janesons and Pepsi Max, thanks HC :beer:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12
