    Evening everyone! Hope everyone's ok?

Been out today and wish I'd stayed in, I practically got frostbite walking from the car into the first shop and it was only a matter of 20 parking spaces or so!

Quick question, those of you who signed up the Which? trial, have you had your John Lewis vouchers yet?[/QUOTE]

No, not yet - although still plenty of time for them to come....before cancelling ;)

Think you are more Belfast direction???

I was beginning to wonder if there were any MSEers up the north west. Most seem to be Belfast (myself included), we have a couple of Armagh but apart from that either they're too rich to need this site or just lurkers.

    Welcome to the madhouse

he only knows about sitting down so not issue with standing, its more that he wears a pull up and chooses to use that and carry on playing rather than go to the toilet. I did have one of those little balls before but can't remember what i did with it ( i did buy it right after he was born as it was rtc at time)

Hi emmlouie, I have 2 boys, and my tip would be for your son to wear cotton pants under this pull up, so that if he does have an accident, it is wet on his skin and he wouldn't like it. I also used a timer, and set it for every 20-30 mins, and when it went off we would run to the toilet and if he did 'anything', he would get a reward. hth

I know but I wasn't going to say it ;)

Is it you that listens to LBC ? Did you hear the man last night flogging his book about Les Dawson & then Les Dawson's widow phoned up & said had he ever met Les & he said No. Boy was she angry

I thought the presenter was very unprofessional about it all & the author sniggering was

    Evening all
Had a hit and miss shop at T's tonight. Whoopsies were dreadful apart from the flowers. I got some lovely bunches reduced by 90%.
Also managed to get some strawberries 90%.....but nothing at all from the bakery or the chilled or meats.
I never go on a Friday as a rule but wanted to see if there were any of the toys mentioned today.
No remote controlled anything....no batman....but LOADS of the spiderman pull back thingy's so I got a few ;) but still several left.
If any of the regulars wants one...PM me and I'll tell you where they are.
Can't believe they were nearly eleven quid full price  but at 49p.....thanks so much Spiraling Down

I also found the cupcake paper plates which are the same design as the serviettes pictured yesterday....so took a chance and they scanned at 1p so got several packs of those too.

Saw the Black Denby dinner service Artha mentioned earlier, It was in a really battered box....but the SEL was still £85....so nothing doing there.
Right I'm going back to catch up....have I missed much?
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
