I think I should only spill once it's been escalated..you never know who reads this...Considering emailing uncle Phil about this one though. But I will say that it was shocking to be accused in such a way (and this with no evidence/back-up except 3 old trouts corroborating).
Allegedly the manager's emailed a memo about me to all other stores  Can they do that without any proof whatsoever? Surely that's libel/slander? They don't have my name or cc details, but can call up the transaction and see my bank card details, can't they...this might be linked to associated cc...omg I'm getting totally paranoid now!

Might I just add that I've never used underhanded tactics, been warned or anything like that and only had 2 smallish dtd's in this store, last one a good 3 months ago! So am all the more incised by the treatment I received today :(

This is defo an 'Uncle Phil' email complaint. What can the manager email? Customer bought a product, the SEL was wrong and we wouldn't honour the price ....Who actually told you that, a trout? You need to detail exactly what happened, and how this has left you feeling. Upset, mortified, embarrassed and like a criminal. Tell them that you felt thoroughly intimidated and this is one of the most appalling customer service experiences you have ever encountered.

I believe the wine from last week is still scanning as part of the meal deal (altho it isn't online) ... and so is still Price Checking.

Thanks to OP (rosie?) on Thread 12.

I hate snow too, can't get out anywhere here so means no trips to Mr T, what's good about that...:(:(:(

Snow is only acceptable if you don't have to leave the house at all, for anything...even then it's rubbish. Last year there were icicles bigger than me hanging off all the houses and you don't want to be the person underneath one of those when it falls off:eek::eek::eek:
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Love it if I don't have to go out in it but absolutely hate it if I do have to go out:)
We are many we are one xxx

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.
