    Hi all :D
*hugs* to those in need x

Going to pop into my local SW tonight considering joining as cutting down what I am eating isn't working so well for me!

When my OH lost his iPhone we were devastated we know someone took it as it was switched off, you could tell it was a family mans phone as it had a personalized case with him and the kids on and then it was just full of pictures and videos of the kids which we lost :( We sent the phone a text using the find my iphone app and even offered 100 quid returned but never heard anything, its since been blocked but like Happy says there are ways around that!

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

    Xmas Saver!
There is a way in an Iphone of accessing the built in GPS system so you can track down the phone. Handy if you want to know where the other half/kids are, but also very handy if your phone gets nicked you can see exactly where it is. It hits the newspapers every now and again when they are low on stories about someone doing this. Well worth finding out how to turn it on and access this IMO.

But if A can sell a product for £x and make a profit ... then T by price matching are still going to make a profit ... just less than they were hoping for.

It just means that T not A get your money. No difference for us but a huge one for T ... or am I missing something? Probably am! :o

    Someone seems obsesses with T & A........;)

They should have been able to do a SIM swap for you for nothing.

they did offer to post one out for free, but didnt want to wait 3 days for it,

also gives me time to copy contacts to phone, use adapter, insert micro sim into old phone, copy numbers to new sim, then pop new sim into new phone with contacts aboard..all good except

cant get the new sim into phone

Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

If the network has blacklisted the IMEI then the only way the phone would work in this country again is if the IMEI was changed. It's difficult to do and is a criminal offence but it can be done at some of those dodgy market stalls. Sadly, all the finder needs to do is sell it on eBay for use outside of the UK and it will work as blacklisting only blacklists it from the UK networks, although it should be coming Europe wide followed by world wide.

If you don't get the network to blacklist then don't rely on your PIN number to stop other people using it. As I've said, there is an easy way to get around this and a quick search on the apple website in the support documents tells you how to do this (strictly for when you've forgotten your PIN number you understand).

It's called 'Find iPhone' app but any savvy teenager would be able to turn this off if they thought that they were being spied on by their parents.

I think the other thing you're referring too is just a demo model that the developers released and it is not accurate at all.

They should have been able to do a SIM swap in store for free there and then. :(
