I sooooo need a microwave!!!
I have got the oven on lowest setting do that my cubed frozen butter can melt in the warm compartment. Not very MSE!!!
I need to rustle up a pastry so that I can portion out this chilli.
It made us a big dinner. I have 4 lots of chilli and rice in tupperware tubs (will freeze) for taking to a Friday Club we go to (they have a microwave in the kitchen so I like to take a warm lunch!).
There's plenty left for pies n future chillies too.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

I am mentally working out how I could have got greater value from the spend.
I know!!
Roast lamb, 3 roast potatoes, boiled carrots, brocolli, gravy, little pot of mint sauce.
I latte coffee, I ordinary coffee.
All very nicely presented, and the lamb was nice and lean, but only 2 veg  and boring veg at that!!
£12.50!
I'd have rather had that big breakfast from yesterday and we could have all shared :rotfl:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Can anyone help. totally o/t. been into the garden today and a cat has taken to using my raised boxes as a toilet. Please don't get me wrong i would never hurt a cat etc but I'm a dog owner and if my dog left its dirt on someones lawn I'm sure they would say something. Many of us want to discuss the various deals to be had but this was not appreciated on the main Grabbit forum. As such, we now use this thread to talk about anything from how to cook a baked potato to how to get 1p or 4p items through self-scan as quick as possible. We also discuss ex-husbands, kids and animals. If you have a medical problem we'll nag you until you go to the doctor. If you're not feeling well we'll provide support, a wee hot drink and whatever chocolate is currently glitching to cheer you up.
I spent ages writing that and people still come on here and troll! I give up :eek:HappyChappy84 wrote: »
Yes HC, it was written around the time you were trying to burst your eardrum with a hat pin.
Ts free day for me. Will be picking up that lovely black & white hearts duvet set tomorrow (thanks to the OP whoever it was). Well I say I'll be picking it up but the kiddos are ill again. Any docs here that could confirm incubation period of colds? Without fail, if the boys fall ill, it's 24-48 hours after the access visit with their father. DS1 fast asleep on the sofa having hardly eaten. DS2 had me up most of last night. My poor wee men
Got a couple of nice DTDs over the weekend but don't want to say too much as they are store specific apart from the RC car. Thanks to the OP for that one - Spiraling if memory serves?
Well done on Baby Meerkat. We need name(s) & pics!
Oh and for those fed up with snow, I've not seen any in NI since December 4th and even that was on high ground.0
