Agree about family workhorse, ours is just that and the kids love it.

As for changing it, gamble one way or other, i'd like to keep it running but at what cost ? where do you draw the line between emotional attachment and financial sense ?

Yes, there is a definite emotional attachment when you get a car you love. I suppose the best thing to do is to run it as long as it's fun, but be aware at some point its days are numbered and have the wherewithal together to change it when you need to ?Hope is not a strategy.0 -
