Well chosen subject Kadison for your 750th post - congrats on your new star :j :j

Evening guys, been catching up on the old thread and then on our sparkling new thread - thanks Nikkilala for starting our new thread

It's been a quiet day here today, though Mr 3Dogs has been for his second physio session - physiotherapist was pleased with his increased movement but feels that his balance problems and pain are to do with his long-term knee problems so has given him exercises to strengthen your right quad, down the thigh to knee, as she feels this would help him immensely, and also to see about his knee at the docs. He did have arthroscopy on his knee about 15-20 years ago after having problems for a long time before that, so will have to take it up with doc again :(:(

Thank you and I hope Mr 3dogs has a productive appointment with the doctor when he sees him/her xx

You are now a fully fledged member then - it does take over your life, not 'seem' to ;);)

It TOTALLY does! It's become an 'in joke' with my friends now, I had a friend of mine over on Monday evening after our meal out and asked if she wanted any vitamins, I emptied two large boots' bags out onto the sofa and asked her how much I paid for it all given that I would have paid £15.30 for the 3 visionace (on 3 for 2) and I had 6! (Answer £14.** can't remember the exact number)!

She stared at all the piles of shots and vitamins incredulously as I tried to explain the glitch to her, she couldn't believe I had effectively bought all but one and a bit of the visionace packs for nothing! She also happily went away with a bag full of vitamins/shots and some 6p Andrex on the go!

On the way out I asked her to guess how much I paid for my 6 bottles of naked wine.......when she had to keep reducing her guesses and I finally said £4.99 for postage, nothing for the wine! She asked if it was pretty much bottled cat urine :rotfl: I do so LOVE shocking people with my bargains :D:p:D

I'm on SW and planning to use the WW meals.........they're not that high in syns, the spaghetti bolognese for example is only 5 syns and the lasagne only 5.5 :)

thanks Kadison and congrats on your new star
I'm very fussy about what I use my syns for, though I didnt realise these were so low. I usually make a huge batch of syn free bolognese sauce which feeds the 3/4 of us and freeze a few individual portions for myself or add chilli powder and kidney beans the next day to have with rice or chips. Id rather use my syns for alcohol/crisps/chocolate/cake/alcohol or all of the above:rotfl: though I can see these would be great for someone for a quick meal. May have a look at them tomorrow if the offer is still on though my freezer is pretty well stuffed. Good luck with your slimmimg world journey, Im loving mine and had a call from my consultant this evening asking if she could put my number on the Lifelines board for members to contact me for advice as Im "so helpful in class". I took that to mean Im loud:rotfl: but flattered at the same time

PMSL, if our consultant (called Sharon :rotfl:) called any of us loud I really wouldn't be able to resist saying "YOU think WE'RE loud?!"

She's wonderful in every way but like my friend Sue, she has no volume control :rotfl:

    Enough until they listen.

Martin, open and direct, do you remember phoning me and making me offer to compensate for one of your mods posts to me on forum ?

( know the mod in question will remember this)

You offered, your sorry was enough for me so refused your offer.

    ...
    Sounds interesting.........
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

Wouldn't the wood go funny if it was constantly covered in water though? Sorry if that is a daft question I am no good at stuff like that :o

Well done :T And yay for friendship, you are my first friend haha, going by your profile pic there is no way you need to be calories countung you look FAB!

Speaking of missing members anyone seen Caz? Hope she and little ones are ok.

Still here. The kiddos are great. The topic I'm not allowed to discuss isn't so great. The real world strikes again (wonder if that will get quoted again :p).

Lurking and PMs are much easier though. Nothing can be quoted, twisted, used against me blah blah blah. Much easier to sit back, watch the fights from a distance and place virtual bets on when these threads get closed down :( Sorry but with each incarnation the fighting gets worse, the nastiness of members get worse, the number of glitches gets worse. It's sad but that seems to be the current state of affairs.

    Back to lurking.
