Hi Mr R, if you click on a post number in the top right hand corner, the single post will open up in a new window and you can copy and paste the link into your reply

And an even easier way Mr Rumples, is to hover over the post number, right-click and click on copy shortcut , then paste the link in your own post/reply ;)

    :D:D:D BRING BACK HC!!:D:D:D

    (I've been saving that!)

Well chosen subject Kadison for your 750th post - congrats on your new star :j :j

Evening guys, been catching up on the old thread and then on our sparkling new thread - thanks Nikkilala for starting our new thread

It's been a quiet day here today, though Mr 3Dogs has been for his second physio session - physiotherapist was pleased with his increased movement but feels that his balance problems and pain are to do with his long-term knee problems so has given him exercises to strengthen your right quad, down the thigh to knee, as she feels this would help him immensely, and also to see about his knee at the docs. He did have arthroscopy on his knee about 15-20 years ago after having problems for a long time before that, so will have to take it up with doc again :(:(

Not at all, until all avenues have been exhausted the bring back HC battle continues.

Think only way to do it is via poll rating, if enough people vote bring him back maybe MARTIN would forgive and give 2nd chance, if not then we have to stand by the moderators (MARTIN)'s decision.

Volunteer to organise pole please ?

Blondy its a vote pole not a club pole, cool your heels :D

    Actually I agree with this.

This instance is different to all other bannings in the weight of support behind HC and his reinstatement. I believe the mods should really take note of that and allow a poll (I know polls are not usually allowed on such subjects). I'd be happy for them to either word the structure of the poll decision or oversee it done by someone on here to make sure it was fair and unbiased.

We've all said we will vouch for him and guide him on an ongoing basis. Based on the fact he would be back effectively on a trial basis, I think the mods have little to lose and a lot to gain by showing a more human side. They are often criticised for being too tough or not transparent enough. They certainly have the opportunity here to silence their critics.

Question is, are they up to the challenge?
  • Yay!! Finally caught up! Thanks Nikki for starting the new thread.
Hope everyone is ok today. Not sure if I have missed something along the way but what happened to Jake and Rob, not seen anything from them for ages.
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:

I would agree that, in principle, a poll might show the strength of positive feeling of the regular posters on this thread towards HC. There is a danger however that those who genuinely did not like HCs posts or those who are mischievous(and they exist) could provide sufficient negative votes to make it difficult for the mods in a situation like this. A majority isn't sufficient, it would have to be 100%.
    Just my thoughts:)
    Awaiting a new sig
