Having a !!!! day anyway - my partners ex-mother inlaw died yesterday and he got a message saying his 13 year old son needed him and about time he acted like a dad! Fine but bear in mind that he last saw his son over two months ago and did not even get to see or speak to him on either his birthday or Xmas - in fact has had no news from him has just wound me up(lives 5 mins from our house!)
So basically family celebrations he can't be involved in but when there,s a death on the ex wife's side of the family he is expected to be involved.
Takes the - want to use a rude word but can't -0 -

Hi everyone,
Anyone missed me? Weekend in Hatfield went well but did not venture out of sports hall or hotel to find a Ts.Did not turn laptop on on friday as knew if I did I would not get away on time as was picking DD2 up from train station in Hatfield so had to be there on the dot. I would have either got caught up reading or would not have been able to resist any glitches. Have I missed much have over 100 pages to catch up so you might not see me for a while.
We've all missed you tiny:) You have'nt missed much over the weekend, no global glitches:(Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Aaaahhhhh they look so cute:)
Totally O/T now, but just back from the doctors, booked in for steroid next week for my elbow but it's been getting me down and I can't sleep with the pain so the doctor has prescribed one 25mg amitriptyline tablet everynight to see if it will get me through the night. We had a bit of a "discussion" about them because I always thought they were anti depressants and I'm not depressed, but he said no in low doses they are good as a muscle relaxant and should help me sleep.Has anyone else ever used then for this, I hate taking tablets:(
I have been prescribed Amitripyline as a muscle relaxant to help me sleep. My dosage got increased 3 times and still didn't hit the sides. did nothing for me at all. My mum however got prescribed the lowest dose and only took it twice as it made her fall into a really deep sleep, pretty much as soon as she had taken it.
It effects different people in different ways. It is prescribed as an anti-depressant too, but in much higher doages and can also be given to juveniles who wet the bed
Best thing to do is give it a try on a day when you don't need to get up early the next day, and see how you get onA clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here
Any offence is not intentional, I'm really quite harmless0
