    Afternoon everyone.

Happychappy, i managed to do the scan and email malachy, thanks but app kept crashing so i think i need to delete some pics from ipad, ended up using a memory card, bit of a cop out but at least the tax return is submitted on time! Will try harder next time!

Christmas stuff not reduced in my store the shelves were scarce where there were loads yesterday so not sure where it all went!

The toiletries were reduced a bit more so got a few bits, also for some mad resason i found 3 of the air drum sticks in the middle of the shampoo aisle with a sel for £1. Bit confused as to why they were there but hey!

I did a big shop to fill cupboards as i had two of the £5 off vouchers. I split the shopping nicely on the conveyor, shop 1 went fine at £40.01 after multisaves. I stand there waiting for woman to start putting next load through when she says i have to take it off and go to a different checkout. Whats that all about?
She was not budging even though it was 2 transactions and there was a queue behind me. How embarrassing. Had to put it in my trolley with already bagged and paid for stuff. Went to another till then had to explain to that woman why some bits were already in bags and show her my receipt. She said the other lady was being finicaty!!!

That reminds me I'd better do my tax return
Seems a bit of a waste considering everything is gonna be £0
    :(

Does anyone know if they're still giving out the £5 off £40 spend vouchers today or has it finished? If they are I'll give mine to OH to get his stationary and he can give me back the new one;)

Totally O/T now, but just back from the doctors, booked in for steroid next week for my elbow but it's been getting me down and I can't sleep with the pain so the doctor has prescribed one 25mg amitriptyline tablet everynight to see if it will get me through the night. We had a bit of a "discussion" about them because I always thought they were anti depressants and I'm not depressed, but he said no in low doses they are good as a muscle relaxant and should help me sleep.Has anyone else ever used then for this, I hate taking tablets:(

they are good in low doses for muscle relaxants

    Thanks Nikki :)

Yes my Dad's on amitriptyline for MS as a muscle relaxant. They're very often prescribed for that reason. I've taken it myself for migraines too. I wouldn't worry about taking it, it's a very short amount of time until your steroid injection and 25mg is a relatively low dose, you'll be fine :) (coming from someone who takes atleast 20 tabs daily!! :p) The only side effect I found particularly annoying is dry mouth, especially at night. It may not affect you on a low dose but keep water by your bed incase. Obviously it's not painful or long lasting, just annoying! :Axx

Thanks Fudge, that's made me feel better. I did get a bit tearful in there and thought "OH no he's thinks I'm depressed so that's why he's given it to me" and I insisted I wasnt, I was just fed up with the flipping thing hurting all the time;)

Yes me, the doctors have given them to me twice as low dose muscle relaxants, for my neck problem, not sure if I've told you about that, I can't tolerate any sort of drugs, they made me sleepy but my mother made me stop taking them . She said they made me stupid & I was talking rubbish ! :o Mothers don't mince their words do they or at least mine doesn't

I had half or a quarter of the lowest dose little blue tablets I think definately amitriptyline

Sounds gorgeous, my dog has 3 coats:oA rain mac with a hood, an Arhtur Daley sheepskin and a posh red quilted coat with a black fur collar. If it's cold or raining he won't go out till you put them;)

Oh this is nothing as grand as yours!!! It's the doggie equivilent of a cheapo pakamac!...the sort granny's keep in their handbags!
Well she wasn't chuffed....and definitely didn't want the hood up....but she did trundle round with it on which I'm amazed at!
I'm thinking a trip to pets at home might be on the cards to get her some designer clobber ;)
I wonder what she'd look like in doggy jeans and a hoodie!!:D

Anyway here she is just as we were heading out the door....If looks could kill :rotfl::rotfl:
