Yes, some of these folks who think it's fun to annoy gangs of criminals should think a bit harder about what they're doing. Some nasty things have happened where people have played along too far with 419 scammers in the past.

I'm intrigued, what sort of nasty things have happened?

Haha .. I ask for RAJ - let him talk me through the spiel whilst pretending to do what he says ..

Then just start talking jibberish to him , like "The banana says it is orange" in a very serious voice.

He gets very wound up - it is comical

+1 for Raj :) Whoever picked up said "Why are you calling him on this number". When they ask how much I paid for support I said £99.

Waiting for callback from Technical Support team on *my* landline number 0904 161 0190 :):):) Scammers ringing scammers. How good can this get?

Nasty things have probably only happened to the poor souls that get sucked into the 419 scams, most 419 baiters are careful enough to not get themselves into trouble. But it is right to be wary of playing with fire

Any proof of that or are you just scaremongering?
