I'm looking at both of the 810i on offer at The Link or E2save or the 610i on offer at 3

I like the fact that the 810i has autofocus and zoom, but don't know if I would use the 3G features on the 610i

i would go for the w810i as it has AF, zoom and a flash. the k610i has 2 of these features. the w810i supports the cheaper memory stick duo format, while the k610 goes for the more expensive memory stick micro m2

So what exactly is the difference bet 2G and 3G, the girl in Phones4u said that call quality was better with 3G and you can do video calls

she is correct about the video calls, but better call quality () what a lie! there is no difference in call quality between 2g and 3g. i tested it on a k608i and it is about the same as my k750i

:rotfl: Thats a good one, are you sure its not april 1st today?

As far as which phone you should go for, then in terms of per spec & value for money it has to be the W810i. Better camera, 512mb card in the box, and the walkman bit is pretty good as well.

If its a deal thats more important, then you may get a better long term deal on the K610i. For instance, you could get it from the Link on the Videotalk 500 tariff 3 are advertising at the moment for £15 a month plus the same free bluetooth that e2save are offering yet not have to mess around with cashbacks. If you needed texts then you could always add 75 texts for only another £5 a month.

Its down to what you want really, better phone and decent deal or decent phone and better deal?
