OP I agree about being careful though, we went to turkey last year and I ended up rather poorly, the doctor told me to book 5* if I went again.

Currently there are a fair few options first week of sept (dont know when kids hols end, as I dont have any!!!) to book now for about £350-380 - but I never book my hol until the last minute!

Depends how brave you are to wait!! I go all inclusive every time as I like to just sit in one place for a week and only walk to the bar and back!!! I book 2-4 weeks before and if you are not bothered about destination you can get some real bargains - I never go less than 4* on all inclusive as I like to think its going to be nice if I am staying there all week - but have done tenerife, gran can, turkey and bulgaria AI recently - prices ranging from £250-£400.
