I am a contractor and sick pay is not in my contract. If i am ever off sick for a few days is there anything I can claim?
Ive looked into SSP but apparently that is something that your employer pays you. Am I entitled to anything without involving my employer or do i just have to suffer the loss?
TIA

You dont get paid for the first three days of sickness anyway, these are called waiting days.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
also, depends how much money you have in the bank. We got forms sent to us once when my hubby was off for 2 weeks. The amount of paperwork involved put us off and couldn't be bothered in the end to get what would have been a few quid. They make it hard.0
