Short Term Internet solutions?!

Hi there,
I am renting a flat for 6 months and want to get unlimited internet access. I have a dongle from my previous flat which cost me £90, but I am constantly topping up and it's costing me at least £30 a month which is more expensive than a contract...
Does anyone know if it's possible to top up 'unlimited' gb through a dongle- i have only seen this on monthly contract dongles.
If this is not possible, can anyone suggest a short term internet provider? I spoke to 02 who do 1 month contracts (1 month notice to cancel) it sounded to be quite good but have read some bad reviews about slow connection - they quoted me 16meg speed which does seem slow in comparison to other providers.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
