Hi everyone,

Blondy24 - I like those hearts a lot, they will look lovely with claret ribbon so definitely go for them considering how much you've saved on the flower budget. The price you have for your flowers seems very good indeed!

Not sure if I'm coping so well with my arrangements... I am still struggling to get the printers to get my invitations right. They keep printing them in random shades of orange when I really want a dark burnt gold colour. I need to then stick them onto the pocket folds and diamante them up etc. I'm panicking again that time is ticking by and I am so not ready....

My button bouquet is finished. I've "blinged up" mine and DD shoes, bought everything for my wedding cake, ordered cake of cheese, hairdresser booked - just need to get these invites sorted out and pronto.

Mine is for the 26 January; which seems like a pretty popular date.

Everything still going ok and to plan.

All invites are out and herein lies a problem...we're getting married away from our home own and then having a big 'do' about two weeks later. I've invited people from work and some of them have taken it as read that their invites includes a plus one despite only having their name on the invite. Is this normal; to me, if the invite doesn't have your name on it, you're not invited.

I might start a new thread about it as it's p***ed me off somewhat but not sure if it's me being unreasonable.

Hello All,

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your guest Skateykatey that's rubbish. They should understand that if it states one person on the invite it doesn't mean plus one. Some people do have a cheek sometimes. I do agree with you that if the invite doesn't have your name on it, you're not invited.

Just found out this morning that the lady who was going to do my hair trial and on the day can no longer do this so have to find someone else argh!!!!!! I need to get searching as only 57 days away! Wrote a list on Friday and still have loads to do, will post it later.

Bexsmum - Any news on your invites, hopefully you have got them sorted now, it can be stressful as you want them to be perfect yet at the same time have them ready to be sent out. Good luck.

that's rubbish about your hair trial; I must admit that I'm not having one but my hair is pretty short so can only have a minimum of faffing about with; if it's a mess, the veil will cover it in any event

Have you found anyone yet or do you know what kind of style you're after???

What else is left to do on your list????

Everything is pretty much sorted at our end; I could do with a nice shrug/stole just in case it's freezing but can't find one that I like at a price that I also like!

I do need some help with the dress for guest, I need to find a suitable dress for a 15 year old who is a size 14/16, I would like to avoid the strapless dress. Any ideas?

is she a girly girl or more of a tomboy. some dresses are strapless but straps could be easily added on for not a great deal of extra cash.

Hi Skateykatey thanks for your message she is a size 16 adult in clothes so need to find a suitable dress for a teenager.

I am thinking of getting my own square vases and putting roses in them, anyone got any good recommendations for square vases?

Well the panic has officially set in, so much to do so little time! But as I'm no longer employed I have a little more time on my hands than I anticipated which is a bonus I suppose. Just the added worry of finding a job as well as getting married this month!!
