Hi
I need a coal bunker to store coal in. Coal is much cheaper from my coal merchant and better quality that the rubbish that is sold in shops/garages and I can save money getting it delivered, but I need to provide a coal bunker. I've been looking at buying one but they are incredibly expensive for what they are. A galvanised one costs £50-£60 and the plastic ones can be anything between £100-£200 new. I've been looking for a second hand bunker but even on ebay/preloved they are rare to find. I regulary travel from North Wales, through to Shrewsbury, M54, M40 to South West London, Surrey. Can anyone recommend a cheep supplier or know of something decent second hand?

I use my two garden waste wheelie bins and have a couple of old style plastic dustbins. The whole lot can hold around 8-10 50kg bags of coal.0

Another place to look is fly tip sites - Ive seen a few bunkers fly tipped , ours we found (minus door) dumped beside the recycling bins ( hubby made door from wood with roof felting)0

Although my storage example is within my workshop, which is a builders bulk bag, I put 300kgs of smokeless in bag, approximately filled half the bag, you could do the same if outside?
Bulk bag sitting on a pallet, cheap tarp on top to keep dry. Cost to you, ZERO!
