You may be over the income for free Dental treatment, but still do the HC1 as an HC3 will set the amount you pay per course of treatment, I pay £30 odd before it becomes free afterwards.0

Dont forget that you may also be able to get travel to medical appointments reimbursed too. We have tax credit exemption certificates and regularly make a 100 mile round trip to hospital with our son. We only recently found out that we could claim for petrol and parking which makes a huge difference.0
