Flying a sin

Sin is central to all Christianity. It cannot be "more" or "less" central. Without the concept of sin, there is no Christianity. The whole of the Bible is about sin and how it mars our relationship with God.

With regard to whether flying is a sin, clearly it is not covered directly by the Bible so we have to make a judgement based on the principles set out in the Bible. Personally, I would say that the Bible indicates that we should certainly care for the world which God has given us but each individual needs to make their own judgement as to what exactly that means in practice. Flying per se may not be a sin but if for example a given person (such as the bishop of London) believes it to be a sin then it would certainly be wrong for them to do so.

I don't care, so what if it's a sin, am I going to be hit by a bolt of lightening or something? whilst flying or after flying or maybe before? Quite frankly can't make myself care about this one.
