Seems they still have you over a barrel :mad:
Got my PAC code and ported a number from O2 to three well before the end of my billing month assuming that would then mean the charges would stop.......
Oh no.... The number isn't even attached to an O2 account now and apparently I have to give 30 days notice? so am liable for another month of fees. Hmmmmm
I'm generally quite good at this game, but clearly I missed this little bit of sneakiness.

you couldn't have played much then :rotfl: it the same with all mobile contracts, whether monthly, 12, 18, 24 months etc etc
You have to give 30 days notice with all of them, usig a PAC doesn't negate the need for the notice period.
This really should be a warning to familiarise yourself with the contracts that you have signed up to0 -
I actually think these type of SIM cards have very clear, explicit conditions.
Phone companies are good at burying information within the terms and conditions, but they are pretty clear with this one.
It's highlighted clearly in the first bullet point on the sales page:
http://shop.o2.co.uk/tariffs/simplicity/1_monthNo long contract - Cancel with 30 days notice
IMHO they probably couldn't make it much clearer.0 -

With some people it's never their fault even when terms say so.0 -
If you read the terms, it's something they make blindingly obvious. It's not devious, misleading or anything else, it's down to you not reading before you sign for something.0

Yes because you signed up to a contract that continues automatically unless you decide to end it by giving 30 days notice.0
