  • Sorry if this has already been answered (I did look and couldn't find anything). How does this MF box thing work. My local has tons of them but there's a big sign saying you have to spend £15. How are you lot getting them free or with just a lip gloss. Want one for my Mum!!!

The till doesn't flag up that you can only have the box free with a MF purchase, ie it just puts it through as £0.00. As long as you disguise it with other purchases and the SA doesn't know the details of the offer, it should go through as free with no problems.

can someone please tell me if the offers on line, eg half price no 7 beauty mirror can only be purchsed for that price online or can it be bought in the boots shop for that price.

Hi! Just to let you know, I bought the No7 mirror in-store yesterday!
Have seen it full price earlier this week in other stores, but since it went on Sale, on-line, I would imagine it is half price at all stores!
    Good Luck.
    BTW...Crown Point, Leeds for mine!

Nope! (apparently you're not allowed to just put one word answers:rolleyes: )

I wonder if this mirror will go through free with the £16.00 parenting voucher, a couple of weeks ago my friend managed to get the facial sauna thingy free with her voucher (that was half price from £45.00 to £22.50) but still went through as free with her voucher!!

If anyone can get to Romford the Liberty store has loads of the red max factor boxes. Grabbed one quick as the MF lady was no where to be seen. Chickened out of trying to put one through with other purchases so bought their new mascara for £9.99 and you get an automatic 200 points added to your card. I was pleased with this as I needed a new mascara anyway. Paid at the pharmacy counter and the SA didn't say anything and looked impressed. When I left the store the MF lady was back at the counter.

Chris at photo counter knows about it - I got one from her yesterday, told her they were old stock and that liverpool street were getting rid of them. Showed her a receipt as well, so she put it through, I went in today, and she reconised me, and refused the offer, so I accepted it. Pharmacy counter girls all knew about it yesterday, the tall blonde girl keeps catching me. Is there actually an MF girl? Never seen one, and i've wanted assistance there before.

Edit - not forgotton about you ladies that want boxes I shall try again, there's stil at least 20 there, and might travel to another store on my days off on my travelcard, just need to change my image... and coat/scarf :D

But before my tale begins, which one of you lot has been to Chester and nabbed all the Nivea for Men Shaving Foam @£2.69 ??? what on earth will i spend my 4 voucher on now! LOL! Nice to know theres some others in Chester -who are you!?

Back to the old lady and technology story - this isnt meant offensively at all, but its a case of "how many sales assistants does it take to work a gift voucher"...

for once, i wasnt really trying to fleece Boots. The worst thing i did was rip 2 botanics 100pt vouchers out of 2 magazine - hardly crime of the century compared with the usual bootsing tricks! i wanted tablets, cough medicine too, and asked to put 2 botanics thru separately. That was fine.

The problem was using a gift card and then a paper gift voucher.afetr the 2nd sa tried it and wouldnt work, a store manager got called on the tannoy, he couldnt work it out, so to cut a long story short (and points not going on cards etc) i walked out 25 mins later (my oh was mortified)

i checked all receipts to check how badly they'd messed up, but it seemed to go in my favour :D:D:D £3.30 extra on gift card and 200pts more than i should have hadd :D:D

    I LOVE YOU BOOTS!

If you have any £2.50 mens vouchers to use up, look for the Mens Botanics antibacterial shaving gel. It's £1.37, so you can get 2 for 24p. My teenage sons use it as a facial wash, & it works really well.
