  • Morning fellow boots addicts! Its not often i'm first to post in a morning!

Had a good day yesterday. Went to Bradford city centre store where they have MF boxes and the pink french manicure sets displayed. (Box free with £15 spend and manicure set free with £20 allegedly!) The MF woman looked particularly scary but i hovered around til she turning her back, grabbed 2 of each and hurried off.

'Brilliant' i thought - 4 freebies - but then realised that getting them all through the till might be difficult (esp seen as i didnt want to spend any money LOL). So i stashed one of each behind the baby bibs, got some botanics face wipes and some shaving foam and headed to the photo counter to pay. The SA put the wipes and stuff through (asking for £2.50vouchers first but luckily she scanned the 100 botancis points first so they still went on ;) ). Then she picked up the box and the nail set "I think these come with Max Factor products", she says  "Oh right, didnt know," i claimed thinking that all was lost. But then she scanned it and it came up free (i tried to look suprised  ) and she decided it must be a valentines day promotion or they are trying to get rid of them.
So total spend 68p + 100 points + MF box and nail set :D

Then i did the customery stashing of giveaway boots carrier bag inside a black DP bag and went back to retrieve my other box and nail set from its hiding place. This time i picked up a cheapo natural collection eye pencil (about £1.50 i think), more botanics face wipes and some razor blades to make it over £5. Again it went through no problem - i think the SA was more concerned with chatting up the girl on the next till than looking at what i'd bought.
Total spend = £7.98 + 100 extra points + MF free box and nail set + new £2.50 vouchers

On my way out i walked past the MF counter again but the lady was sat preening herself right next to the boxes. Didnt want to be too greedy anyway so i've left some for any other yorkshire MSErs who fancy it. Going to give the boxes to my cousins who have bdays in May. Gave a nail set to my mum and kept one for me. Told my mum all about latest bargains (she was keen on the 641!) and she's going to go to Boots on saturday now! She wants to buy the hydroquench No7 stuff - she's tried the stuff from the No7 wrap and likes it - she has a 250 points voucher but are there any other ways to get money off? I think its about £14.50  which is a pain cos have to buy something else for another free wrap too. Any advice appreciated

    Probably should do some work
