What is the best way to get the sanctuary free bag?
I have a £3 voucher from the new mag.
Is it on 3-4-2 (as I have seen mentioned on here) or are there any extra points in the acm at the moment?
Not been keeping up with Boots :( as I've been busy Tecoing and Sainburying the last few days.
I found an old AC in my drawer, must be from pre-Boots days of 3 points a year thought I.
So I took it in today to get checked and it said I have £50.12 on it.
I don't believe that is possible, as it muct be at least 6 yrs old and I NEVER had more than about 20 points in the old days.
Off tomorrow to a bigger Boots to buy baby stuff...................and hopefully get a sanctuary free bag somewhere in the deal.

LilacLillie, sorry for going off topic but what exactly did you get when you shopped at Boots a few years back with regards to points?

And when did they introduce points?

    (just being nosy!)

I don't really understand the question Ragtimeplayer????
It was an old advantage card I found in the back of a drawer. I don't even remember it, but my name is printed on it and my signature is on the back.
The one I use now I have been using for at least 4yrs and started using it to my advantage aftert joining MSE in 2005?
Before that I only ever accquired about 20 points and never got any bargains.
Having anything up to £200 isn't unusual now, but then, well I never had any points to mention.
No idea when they introduced points as such, but they have had the loyalty cards for years.
It is a nice bonus to find the card..................even though I'm convinced that there must be a mistake with how much is on it!

Yip NO17 Glitch still works .
Cheapest items are £1.99 sunstreak or self tan wipes or the no17 lip pencil all are £1.99.
BUT BETTER-In the AC machine there is a voucher for a Free 17 Perfect Pout Lip Liner worth £1.99 when you buy a 17 lipstick. These lipsticks are reduced to £2.79 - 17 Ultimate Volume Lip Gloss & 17 sheer lip gloss. So for £2.79 you get a lipstick, lip pencil and shimmer brush !!!!

Hi Lillie, I have only been using Boots and therefore the points system for the last 2 years maximum so I don't know a lot about how it started etc.

I just assumed the points system was different that many years back and thought you might know about it, no worries!

:D An mser in my area? Are there any bargains to be had at the airport branch. It never occured to me to go Bootsing there. Do you know if you can use the 5.00N7 voucher in that store? I'm not sure if they have different rules at the airport stores.

I searched several London stores again yesterday, for the 5.00 Sanctuary vouchers. I didn't find any though:angry: can someone pleeeease do a swop with me. I am desperate for a 5.00 Sanctuary voucher. In return I can send you a mooncup ACM voucher, 100points pampers voucher and quit kit vouchers.

Yesterday, I also went in search of the N7 mirror everyone is raving about. I found it...fell in love with it...and bought it:D I used gift vouchers to pay for it and I got a free wrap. Don't forget to get a free wrap when buying the mirror:D

Hey, no I'm not around Luton I was flying out from there... I live about an hour away (depending on traffic :p in north london)

And yes they did accept the £5.00 no7 voucher :) they also had the no7 wraps (usual £15 spend).

I didn't see any sanctury stuff though :(

    This was gate side :)

Glad you got on ok at boots. I noticed you said you had a sad lamp are they any good as I have been thinking about getting one for a while but the cost etc had put me off.If anyone else had one I would be grateful for some feedback .

I bought one for my christmas pressie to myself.

I don't feel as if it helps me to wake up any better than my old alarm clock, but, I have noticed that my general mood is far better and the one that I have, has a dim mode, which gradually goes from BRIGHT to OFF. Great if you are reading as it makes you feel like dropping off after 20mins, (too dark to read by then anyhoo).

Best idea would be to try one, tell someone that you see often that you are trying one, keep the receipt and ask your friend/colleague for feedback on your moods/temperament. If you don't like it, return it, (or ebay it, they go for almost face value).

  • Swindon Orbital Boots has the Bagpuss and Winnie the Pooh hot water bottle covers 50% off, making them £7.50. I know some people were looking for them a while ago. Don't know if this is everywhere - and you may all have got them after Christmas, but they are cute.
