They're on the Benefit counter, kept in a large glass jar/vase type thing either on the counter or one of the shelves. I just asked the SA there if they had any, she fished one... then another ;)... out for me.

Thanks COOkie, Miss_Money and rockyrose...I've noticed those big glass jars but they just seem to have rather manky-looking used brushes in them here....will have to have a closer looky! I wasn't sure if they came in boxes or a package of some sort. I always try and avoid actually speaking to the SA's if I can cos I get flustered and go red when I'm trying to do a 'glitch' :rotfl:

the brush jars that theyuse for makeovers are on the front bit of the counter..where they do the makeovers. Usually the glass jars for sharpeners will be in glass jars on the side displays with makeup :)

ring CS and tell them whats happened. they should be able to let you take it back, and give you a ref number with thier name on it so you can exchange it :) if it were me i would just take it back anyway but if you have rung CS youve got more weight behind you. goosd luck :)

Tbh recently alot of girls i know have mentioned that the no7 moisturisers are abit of a gamble because they can cause reactions.I have to say though that the no7 makeup and wipes/eye makeup remover are really good with impressive results.

I used my Boots card in the machine yesterday and I was given the 50% off men's botanics not the points. Also had both 200 and 100 points on sanctuary offer but these would not scan and the SA kindly put them on by hand. My sanctuary bag has the voucher in it - does it work as I've read on here that people have had trouble with it? Also does anyone else frequent the London Colney Store as I often can't find any of the deals listed on here -especially the reduced items. Ahh, well. Off to Boots tomorrow to get some cold remedies!

OhMeGosh! Almost didn't pop into Boots, but remembered that sharpener... then got so excited with deals that I forgot to refund the danged thing! :rotfl:

My local is the Kensington Branch, and I usually go in through the make up section doors to pass the MF area and suss out chances for a box... there it was NEW DISPLAY... "Free with £15 spend: MF Manicure set PLUS a black box with make up brushes" (tied together with a red ribbon !!! Promo for Mothers day... so i swiped one of those quick, since my last MF box was scuppered at till for not having an item, i picked up a MF mascara (down from £9.99 to £7.99... plus with FREE BOX in kensington branch)... and a lipgloss for £6.99. Lipgloss kept falling out of basket (grr! does actually happen) so i held it in my hand as i shopped.

Then went to ACM, got a 75 point on a £10 spend voucher, and there again was the Free FCUK washbag on a £5 spend! printed that, button disappeared after one print, but this time the voucher lasted longer than a day (20th March i think?), but decided to try again, since i still have the code in bag from CS if it doesn't go through. Picked up a mens moisturiser for £5.50. Also got 2 x disposable cameras (BOGOF) as had the parenting voucher, a Boots mag, and a packet of crisps.

Went to till, ready to fight for my £13 free washbag... then saw the till bleep the manicure set tied to brushes as free :j (hadn't got to mascara yet)... and the box, also free... then the mascara... realised i was still holding the lipgloss so put it against the chewing gums by the counter unless he asked specifically for it....;) he didn't! Woo! Then the FCUK voucher (which i'd had trouble with first time as not scanning) took the £13 off first time! :j

In the end spent £13.86 on a mascara, a mens moisturiser and a packet of crisps and got the following free:

    2 x cameras
    MF box
    MF manicure set
    MF brushes
    FCUK mens toiletry bag
    ..and of course a boots mag and a £5 No7 voucher :D

    YAY!
