hi,just wondered if louise 1981 or any other manchester MSE'er could tell me where there are new mags in manchester?

No new mags in Manchester on Wednesday

Can anyone tell me if you have to spend £15 after no 7 voucher has been taken off ie £20 in total to qualify for triple points
    hope that makes sense
    thanks
  • OK....I went on my first planned out, proper bootsing trip last nite and it was a nightmare.

1-The cheapest sanctuary stuff they had was just over £4 - silly me, i got two anyway just for the freebie.

2-Yes, loads of MF boxes but the lady was there and staring horribly at me,(she looked like she would jump down my throat if i so much as touched one) i came back round a few times to see if she had gone...no luck!

3-The No7 suncare range is not even labelled or signed anywhere stating BOGOF - didnt want to take it to the till and say it was and still try for the free bag cos SA would have def realised i wasnt entitled to the freebie.

4-No Benefit sharpeners at all - sold out apparently - grrr! I actaully needed one too!

5-Nothing in the machine about the FCUK washbag:mad:

6-No magazines either - SA said they hadnt recieved any yet (?!?).

To make it worse i had taken OH and baby with me and the two of them were being miserable all of the way round!

And can you believe this is all in the big boots store in croydon - what a joke. Oh well i have not been put off yet - im heading to brighton on busy saturday - hopefully i will have more luck there! And if it is triple points then all the better:T

ps. i think i saw a fellow mse'r, it was a guy, eagerly scanning the shelves of the sanctuary stuff, i think with a freebie in hand. I nearly askedhim but had to bite my tongue as he would have prob thought i was bonkers!:rotfl:

  • Oh yeah sorry thought you meant with the voucher - but yep if you spend over £15 its will work on nearly everything i think - but hey i might just be going crazy!

I didn't get a FCUK voucher in acm either, good luck Sat!

Anyway found some little tubes (n small see thru box packaging) of cuticle/nail treatment creams on the sale shelf~reduced to about £2.20 each...so she got 2 and she got free bag...and is going to use the nail creams as gifts xmastime so not a waste.:j
