Hi,
I have been with Pipex for years. My bill for december doubled when taken over by talk talk. After 1hr 18mins on helpline to talk talk the best they can do is one months free broadband for the inconvenience and a new package much dearer than the pipex one I was on. My bill for this month will also be doubled as the phone charges are so much higher and i didnt notice this change on the back of a letter.. pipex letter in november says I will pay the same but it has doubled. This months will be the same due to the much higher call charges. One month free broadband is totally insufficient compensation. They also want me to take on another contract! Can I just cancel my direct debit and go to BT? Cant get virgin, sky or orange where I live...

No, you need to give 30 days notice if you are out of minimum term. Ask for your MAC.
TT to BT = frying pan to fire. Why BT?
What are your LLU options (do an exchaneg search on https://www.samknows.com)?No free lunch, and no free laptop
