This is a duplicate post of this - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3749909
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I will add this, the more you cry excuses like the ones above, the more they will harass you.
I am sure you have genuine needs but if you think that these crooks give the slightest **** about any of them then you are seriously mistaken.
they are NASTY crooks running a scam that will try to con your money from you, if you pay they will come back for MORE MONEY in late payment charges.
So take good advice when given, lay off the excuses and explanations and learn to front up and IGNORE.

I pointed out a car on the same yellow lines was also blocking a pedestrian crossing and asked what the difference was. .

10p on that being his own car :)

As previous posters have said it is safe to ignore the invoice, if they ever decided to do court it will be laughed out, as the only wins the PPCs get are set-ups when they take themselves to court.
  • The ticket is not enforceable. So stop worrying. If you have had your spinal injury for 12 months or more, you are covered by the Equality Act 2010. You had your Blue Badge clearly displayed, so the "warden" either needs to see an optometrist for an eye test or a good hard kick up their backside. Threaten UKPC with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC). The last thing UKPC needs is having to shell out a fine of up to £20,000 (imposed by a court) and/or unlimited civil damages for the actions of their employee for whom UKPC's management is vicariously liable. Don't be intimidated by these chancers. The more people who stand up them, the sooner the industry will collapse and, finally, go out of business. Think positively! It works!

Not just threaten UKPC, threaten the company who owns the land, afterall UKPC are just contractors acting on their behalf.

Thanks for adding that, Kite2010. Landowners are equally liable with PPCs for any wrongdoing a PPC and its employees commit whilst operating on their land. It is also an offence under Land Law for the owner or occupier of land to impose a penalty on any person (allegedly) trespassing on their land.

Ok I need a bit of advise, I'm in a similar position. I Parked in a disabled bay in a Liverpool retail park, (no I don't have a blue badge but i needed to be as near as possible to pick heavy goods up and the car park was near empty) and when i came out i had a ukpc ticket on the windscreen. £90 or £50 within 28 days. I have a problem now though because I drive a company vehicle and they will pay any fine received and take it out of my wages. So I'm thinking I need to notify them I was the driver (possibly through appeal although I'm aware all appeals fail) so they don't send fine to my employer. Any ideas. P.s I know I shouldn't have parked in a disabled bay.

Please post a new thread here, this thread is almost a year old and advice has changed in some circumstances.

Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
