I have done loads today-none of it on the list! Such things as booking appts for DD1, helping her ring the Citizens Advice people (ringing her back this week), posting a parcel for her, going to work, doing lunch for 4 people, getting horrible antibiotics into DD2 (a hard job and she is really suffering!)
See you haven't failed, we don't here anyhow, some days we just get to tick more things off a random list somebody you don't know has created:D
CY why is she suffering, because she is ill or because of the ABs? If the later ring the GP and get a different script. From somebody who has taken a lot of ABS there are often other 'kinder' ones (they just cost a bit more)
Nearly there for today, just need to mop the floor in a minute and do some ironing tonight. I'll do tomorrow's list in a bit.
JJ hope the funeral went as well as these things can xx
Quillion any sign of babe yet?

Evening
Thanks for thread Dusty. Gonna try and give it a go again this week but have a busy week and a funeral.
Nice to see you back shell2001 and a warm welcome to those trying it for the first time.
A few hugs needed but I cant remember exactly who needs them as have just read all 5 pages but I do hope that Dustys friends boy improves. I know sometimes after an injury things can improve when swelling goes down so fingers crossed.
Right rather than watching the local news I am going to finish dinner which I started doing yesterday by prepping and putting on the slow cooker which is a massive one up for me then I can do some of the list.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
I have been following Flylady for a couple of weeks now and feel that I am transforming my life! Having been banished from doing anything for 6 months following 2 operations for breast cancer, I now have the bit firmly back between the teeth and am managing with this plan as I can only do small bursts of cleaning before my wounds start to swell up.
Today I tackled the freezer, a job I haven't done for nearly a year. It was well iced up! I defrosted it with pans of boiling water and used some towels from the washing pile to soak up the water, then disinfected it all and dried it. I now have a full inventory of its contents and have put those which need using up first in the very top draw. I was amazed that I only had to chuck out 3 items:) I am such a happy bunny for finding this helpful thread. Thank you!0 -
Good evening
Today I have put on the DW, emptied it & restacked the DW, 1 load in WM (needs to go in TD), washed up, made soup, cleared & wiped the kitchen surfaces and walked the dog.
I have also written a letter to chase my outstanding invoice (to be delivered by hand tomorrow), and phoned tax credits re the same parent. I have also done some work related paperwork.
DH has looked at the LR door handle, but it looks like we may have to replace it
Tonight I am going to catch up on some uni reading and maybe start the assignment (while also watching 'Enders & Corrie)

Hi everyone,
Hope we've all had a flying start to the week regardless of what we've crossed off our lists. I did all my washing over the weekend and turned DD bedroom into the laundry room as she was at her dads!! So spent this morning ironing LOADS, not quite finished it but HH should do it.
JJ glad today went well for you, those things are never easy.
Am just having a quick cuppa then it's off to W/W. haven't done much on the list mainly due to the mountain of ironing and been to the gym and generally helping OH get about, still in pain but he's not sitting about so should heal nicely.0 -
I am ashamed to say that after deciding to join in again TWO weeks ago, life got in the way and I haven't ventured on here since
But this week DH is home so there is no excuse, I nearly fainted when I got home from work lunch time as he had started on our Toots list without me [STRIKE]nagging[/STRIKE] mentioning it :T
So today is once again day 1, if it's not here it's done

Welcome to all the new people:wave: remember baby steps to begin with and things will become easier every week and you will get more and more done;)
Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
ALL DONE
JoJo - meant to say hugs for Minion - she's having a bit of a hard time of it isn't she. It's bad enough just being a normal teenager without all the other stuff thrown in:(
Still got some dailies to see to - so off I go again. DH is off tomorow so I dare say flying will be minimal:D0
