    Hi all,

    I'm in again :)

I didn't manage much last week, but with DH's help the house has survived! I spent yesterday afternoon listing stuff on ebay - I only found 16 items to sell & that was really scraping the barrell. I don't know where you all find things to sell - all my clothes are so well worn once I've finished with them, they are only fit for the bin! DH & the kids are quite attached to their stuff too :o BUT I have 1 bid and 2 watchers so I'm quite pleased!

I tidied a small corner of my study so I'm quite chuffed with that.
I almost finished my parents VAT return & will finish that tonight.

No afterschool clubs tonight so I'll get on with this list when I get home from work & hope to finish before DH gets home from work.

Will mop the floor before I take the dog out and iron this evening.

Can I just say thanks for the list Dusty - I almost cried when I saw it was clean the window sill as there was so much gibble there and stuff belonging to DH [STRIKE]and I haven't been near it in donkeys years[/STRIKE] and it's been a few days since I last did it. He's away in the States so had a good sort through, wiped the sill down and it looks so much better. :)

    Have also S & S bathroom and lounge:D

OK oven on to put baked potatoes on and will get BM on the go as need dough for rolls.

Getting there and I feel so much better for it:D. Now I just need to sort my ironing pile but I think HHI sessions are the way to go with this.

Right couple more things then the school run and trip to the shops.

  • Kitchen now all sparkling and I did my oven too (On my 6 week rota). Used Mr Muscle but it left loads of black bits so ended up using pure elbow grease and one of those wire things.

Does anyone have a miracle solution? Easiest way would be for OH to wipe it out after use but that doesn't happen so it needs a good scrub every few weeks!

No you haven't failed. Not if you haven't stopped all morning. Maybe you just aimed too high. Level one's are fine for your first week.
