I had some good news for DS1 yesterday. He's being sent on a course endorsed by Jamie Oliver. I don't have to pay or organise his transport (it's 15 miles away) and it will give him a recognised qualification after 10 weeks. He's currently doing a bit of casual work for my SIL but she was delighed for him to get this opportunity.

Congratulations:T:j Something good to add at interviews / cv in the future also :o

Half utility floor scrubbed, with a brush and floor cloth on hands and knees... When it's dry, I need to finish off the work surfaces, clear out the other half and then mop through (the half that is left doesn't need scrubbing). It should then be clean enough to do the hand washing.

The white goods I bought when I moved here are starting to show their age, but they still work so I'm trying not to think about it!

How long before you seed? Weed killer usually works on contact with the weeds so may not work and may affect the grass seed when you sow. Have a look on the rolawn site, they often have good tips
