    I agree, but in my case i used a few busses every day to go to work and never had problems with the oyster readers. I have charged my card and the bus fare for this journey would've taken me to the daily cap (50 pence or so needed for that) I never intended not to pay. I was pregnant with very bad pains, the reader beeped and i went for the last seat available as i was in pain, so didn't noticed it didn't registered my card. The officer that took my off the bus didn't care (don't blame her, but still think she could've been more sensitive) and didn't even check the reader, just grabed my card and that was it.
