Thomas Cook Child PRICES

Just playing devil's advocate here, your 11 year olds will occupy a seat on the plane the same as you do. Why should that portion of the holiday be cheaper? In the hotel, they will sleep in a bed, use towels, eat food. The only thing they will not do (presumably) is drink alcohol.
When my kids were young we always did the self-catering thing. The tour operators gave us child prices and then as another poster says, we were charged under occupancy in the apartment.
I must admit over £6K for Turkey seems excessive.0
