Faster Internet Access

Keeping it simple.

When you search for a website on the net your computer looks through an internet phone book to find out where it has to go to get the information you require.

This phone book is called DNS - Domain Name System

Your ISP provide you with DNS but it is not always the best or the fastest.

So if you want you can change the DNS your PC uses and if you choose a faster DNS then your web access if quicker.

Simple huh ?

This lot provide just such a DNS service, free of charge and with really simple instructions about how to set it up.

Depending on your ISP's 'DNS' it can make a substantial difference to your net access speed.

Just so you are happy I suggest writing a notepad document about what you have done, with your old and new settings etc just in case you need to change back at some point in the future.

"FREE" means loads of ads according to the website, nobody gives anything for nothing.

I think that sticking to my current setup is advisable - Seems fast enough to me.

Read it again and properly, I use it, haven't had a single ad, do you use it, have you had any ?

In the world of computing you do get things for free, Linux being a perfect example.

I just tried an to be honest I found no speed increase whatsoever thus reverted back to original settings.
