photos stored on phone

I swapped my sim card and memory card from my 6230i to my old 6230 and while the contact details have stayed the same, photos and text messages stored on the 6230i have disappeared. I can only find an option for memory in use which relates to my contact book. I thought photos would be stored on the memory card. Any ideas?

have the photos been stored on the internal memory of the 6230i?

I don't know how to check for that. I could only find the memory for the contact book. If it has been stored in a different memory how do I transfer stuff on to the card?

im not very good with nokias, but get the file you want and go to options (or more?) and look for something like copy, move to memory card, copy to external memory etc

hmmm... good idea but there's nothing under options which enables you to move/save, only delete. Thanks for the suggestion though.

i dont think i can help anymore as im better with sony ericssons, and the only nokia i have is an old 3330

i have just had a look on my k750i, is there an option like manage files

gaming_guy, your suggestion inspired me to have another go and I've done it!! You have to go in to the picture gallery in the menu (not the shortcut) and find the folder go to 'options' then 'move' then go to the memory card and 'move here'.
