I have two 24" monitors connected to the work PC and a 27" iMac for home use. I work from home so they all share the same desk.

It's nothing to do with 'mine is better than yours' it's to do with improving workflow. I use one monitor for development and fault fixing, it allows me to have editor and compiler open as well as one or more terminal windows on the server I'm currently working on. The second monitor is used for email, documentation and office communicator sessions with colleagues.

It means I don't have to constantly swap windows to find what I want I can have them all open at the same time.

Things would be less crowded if I didn't work from home, as it is my desk looks a lot like the picture above except I have two keyboards, two mice and a trackpad for the Mac.
One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.

Main PC running Win 7 on an LG 20" widescreen here which I got half-price from Dabs ... also a 2nd PC running Win 8 connected up to my LG 32" TV.

I could upgrade the 20" to a bigger size but there's no rush for that ...
