So they are not in your married name but your surname before you got married three years ago.

Still a bit confused because if you applied for credit using your name, your forename and middle name is different to that of the person being persued.

Tell me about it, even though as you say our forenames and middle name are different, this information was still making its way onto my credit report....

  • You sure this woman actually exists and it wasn't someone pretending to be you but getting it slightly wrong?
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

Unfortunately she does, the addresses that were linked to me incorrectly where she lived were in Bury and also in Manchester and that matches the electoral roll for her..

I wish it were stolen identity- that would have been a lot easier to solve than mistaken identity!!

If I ever find her...... lol ;)

You talk about me being offensive!

You tell us the credit reference agencies have corrected your files, so there isn't a problem there, is there?

Oh... I'll stop there... can't be bothered.

They have to go and correct it every time her post clearly explains that new defaults keep appearing

Apart from things such as passport, driving licence, medical records etc, I've never once been asked for my place of birth, so I doubt if this would be of any consideration to credit reference agencies or shops/firms who provided goods on credit.

Good question, something I've never asked , knowing my luck, probably in the same hospital ward!!!!!!!!!! ;)

I was born in Crewe, from her addresses she has lived in Bury and Manchester so the chances are she was born in Manchester.. I will ask the question if I receive any more letters!
