CPW LG p7200 is cashback automatic?
Options
got this phone today from cpw online order - 11 months free.
I've just read the booklet that came with it. under cashback it says new 02 connections will receive their cashback automatically through their bank accounts and will receive a text message to confirm this. this is contrary to the info on-line when I placed the order stating that bills must be sent in.
anyone else looked at this?
of course I will call them to confirm but I just wanted other people's opinion.
thanks

Notwithstanding whether this is true or not, I can certainly see why it would be...Carphone Warehouse still maintains its own O2 service provider so it has all the information it requires to judge your eligibility for the cashback as it issues all the bills itself.

According to other threads, the automatic cashback is an instore deal only. The terms of this deal (and the Nokia 6822 deal last week) refer to sending bill 4,8,12 - it seems contradictory information has been sent out (or indeed none in my case, so relying on the website!).

Hi tunesurfer,
Yup...I'm still around - I'm just much busier than I used to be as I now maintain a fully functional website these days (it's accessible from my MSE profile).
I'm glad that my info has saved you money - and long may it continue to do so.
regards,

Yup...I saw your suggestion to MobilePhoneChecker as well.
It's been on my to-do list for a while now, along with a number of other things. However, general site maintenance and day-to-day admin always seem to get in the way.
One of these days...
I think the way to go would be to implement a manual search facility first along the lines of "show me the deals that match my search criteria AND were added since a particular date" - as long as that works well then it would simply be a matter of allowing people to supply an email address and have their search criteria auto submitted at specified intervals. However, I think I need to think long and hard about general user registration functionality first.
