Loyalty doesn't pay... do I stay or do I go?
I have been thinking about changing my mobile for quite a while now but as a pay as you go customer (and being someone who wants to remain on a pay as you go plan), I haven't yet found a mobile that ticks all the boxes and is in a price range that I can afford.
I am currently with Virgin Mobile but they have made me really cross. They offer an incentive whereby for every £100 of credit I buy, I get £10 off a new phone. All well and good. Yet I have been with them since early 2006 yet have only accumulate £20. It would seem that if you do not claim this money off, it is lost. I am not sure the timeframe but not so long ago, I received a letter from them informing me I had £30 off a new phone yet when I checked recently online, it had reduced to £20.
So I do not feel they deserve my custom anymore and I am therefore looking for a new mobile phone provider.
Orange is probably top of my list, then Tesco Mobile then a close third, 02.
I would prefer a nokia mobile, a decent camera (currently have 2 megapixels), radio and well thats about it. not fussed in the slightest about facebook/e-mail/internet .
Budget probably around £50?
Any recommendations ?

What's £50?
Do you want a contract or PAYG?
How many minutes and texts?

Tick 'FM radio' in 'Features' tab, then select the camera resolution you want.
Nokia X2 is £49.99 on Voda PAYG at e2save, but it will be unlocked and work with any other sim.0 -

Just an alternative thought on this one -
Have you considered a really basic Nokia - such as Nokia 1616 or 1800, or perhaps the newer Nokia 100 - which all have the FM radio you want - and then a separate camera? You'll probably get a much better camera for your money. You can get a 7 Megapixel camera for under £25 and a Basic Nokia for under a tenner on Orange.0 -

Yes thats an idea. I don't really need a camera on my mobile but having had one, you just kind of get used to it and its useful when you might not have your camera on you.
I have seen that Nokia 100 on argo$ - will have another look.0
