O2 charging more than monthly tariff to cancel early :(
I have got 3 months left on my O2 contract.
Last year I renewed my deal & signed up to a discounted tariff of £10/month (reduced from £25/month) because I chose not to take a phone.
I have just called them to say I want to pay off my contract & get a PAC. They said that if I want to do this then I will have to pay off the remaining 3 months at £25/month, not the £10 I signed up to!
Is this correct? Has anyone else tried to pay off their O2 contract early & did you have problems?
