Just popping in to update on my friends conversion with which with regards to the vouchers,
apparently due to demand to the offer they are unable to send any more vouchers out.

Not to worry everyone.
Apparently they will be sending the vouchers separately, contrary to what their email said.
They are hoping to send them this week...
Hi LVM
How did they tell you this
Did you speak to them on the phone ?
Just wondering as in another thread somebody mentions that they told her friend they are not sending any more vouchers out0 -
Eh? Are they able to do that?0

I would imagine trading standards and the ASA would have something to say ... as it does not state subject to demand, or resticted to the first so many new members.
My email clearly states that I would recieve a £15 voucher with my first issue ... joined 22.1.12 - still no mag yet !
Will update what arrives ... and if the voucher is missing what they had to say when I phoned them !

Just popping in to update on my friends conversion with which with regards to the vouchers,
apparently due to demand to the offer they are unable to send any more vouchers out.
Did they explicitly say they were not going to send vouchers to those who had signed up and received the correct "we'll send your £15 voucher with the mag" email? Or did they just imply they didn't have the vouchers for any new subscribers? I had emailed asking what exactly the vouchers were (actual gift vouchers or a "£15 off when you spend £150" type of thing). The reply I got was very vague and just said the offer had ended so they could be avoiding the question a bit.
As far as I'm aware, they are fulfilling all the sign ups with the vouchers but I don't think they anticipated the high demand and they are sending vouchers out separately by the end of this week.
But I wouldn't take my word for it!0 -
I rang Which? today as I've still received nothing in the post.
I signed up on the 21st but the advisor said that my account shows start date as the 23rd- she added this was due to it being the weekend when I signed up but then not being dealt with till the Monday.
She advised that it had not yet been two weeks since I signed up and to wait till next week before calling again.
I paid by credit card and the £1 has been taken.
I would advise anyone who received an email stating they would be getting the vouchers to ask for them but if they're not forthcoming, it's only a pound!
On the topic of exploiting a charity- Which? is a very honest consumer tool but is also a fantastic advertising tool! The reason John Lewis and Which? have run this offer is so we will find a good review for a product and then go to John Lewis to buy it!
We can't be sure of who is footing the bill for this marketing exercise.0 -
there is no mention of the £15 vouchers on the website now. do you think the offer has closed earlier than the 15th February due to high demand?Just about to give up!0
