Sky Movies vs LoveFilm (Streaming) vs Netflix

Hi All,
We've currently got Sky Movies which adds £16 each month to our Sky bill.
With Netflix now launched at £5.99 and LoveFilm now offering unlimited steaming for £4.99 a month, I'm wondering about changing.
As I understand Netflix move TV series than films. On that basis LoveFilm seems the nearest to Sky Movies, but I'm wondering how it really compares?.
I wonder if someone with more information can addresses these questions please:
Considering LoveFilm's streaming service, who releases films first - LoveFilm or Sky?.
Does Sky offer more films (based on film company contracts) than LoveFilm?
Am I right to discount Netflix at the moment for accessing a wide library of films?
Thanks
Iain

Netflix has a very poor and limited selection of both movies and series, but offers a month free so log in and view.
Lovefilms is superb and is gaining more TV series to counter netflix, with Amazon backing cant see it failing, has films from every genre and every country, again offers a free trial so log in and view.
Personally Sky rarely has anything I would choose to watch mostly mainstream Hollywood.0 -
LoveFilm's streaming service is very hit and miss if you're looking for most of the new releases. Some of them find their way to LoveFilm, others don't, or don't for a while. They have quite the range overall and at any one time have around, if not slightly more, films available to stream than Sky will have running cycles on the movie channels or through Sky Go and/or Anytime.
Netflix currently has a limited selection but has superior image quality to LoveFilm if that is of importance to you, and some HD content if you have the connection to support that.
I'd just check out the free trial on Netflix and then the free trial on LoveFilm (don't take them both in the same month, for obvious reasons) and see which, if either, you prefer.0 -
OP - Make sure that your internet connection is fast enough to stream - stable and preferably 4Mb +;Also that you are with an ISP with a large enough monthly download limit - not much good for instance, if you have Plusnet Value allowing only 10 GB per month!!0
