Recommend 10.5KW electric shower

Have a 8.5KW in at the minute, and during the winter the trade off between heat and pressure is frustrating, so want to upgrade.
Already have 10mm cable in, and hubby is an electrician so should be no issues on that side.
So just wondering if there are any bargain showers about?
Have seen ones on hotdeals previously around £60-70 mark - is this sort of budget reasonable?

I install a lot of showers, you can't beat triton for price and reliaility- especially the lower range Tritons as they don't have electronics in thembaldly going on...0

We had a 'cheap' Gainsborough 10.5kw shower that I wouldn't recommend. It was ok- very basic but did the job, just, but had an issue where a valve would get stuck and shut it down (can't remember what it was exactly). Seemed to be a relatively common problem so I found quickly how to fix it myself and didn't need any new parts but was fiddly to open it up and free the valve up occasionally. To be honest it wasn't very different in terms of heat/pressure to the 8.5kw Mira Sport we've now got.0

i'd personally go mira sport, or go for something like a triton t80z, both good reputations0

Hi, Do you reckon the Triton Seville 10.5 kw shower is any good in terms of reliability seems reasonably cheap.
I'm looking to replace a near 8 year old Mira Sport 10.8kw shower which now constantly is running cold water no matter what temp setting or flow setting. I was initially told the thermal switch had gone so I ordered a new one from Mira. Having replaced it I am having the same problem. I have now been told it could be the heater tank which they sell for £88. There is no guarantee that this will work either so a cheap reliable replacement maybe the best option such as the Triton.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.0 -

We have had a Triton Ivory 3 for a few years now and as above no fancy electronics just a decent spray in all weathers. None of them will be as good as a mixer shower with decent pressure but as electric ones go these are pretty OK. Just watch the time you spend in there as 10.5kw is a big power drawer. I can almost hear our meter whirring round as I shower!!
Keep an eye on ebay for new unused ones as they come up every so often and if hubby is electricial he can check it over0 -
triton or mira are a good choice, just remember as the work is in a bathroom your hubby needs to be part p regI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
