the tools pictures are too big, try to keep them in emoticon style little ones in your next makeover, please

the sliding idea is nice but they are too big, when I view it ipad and kindle, it's taking too much space and I'm having to scroll a lot - also no photos please only picture illustrations if possible - that would avoid all these dark colors and flashing

Do the dropdowns in the masthead work for you - if you hover over a tab? Do you have Javascript enabled on your machine? Can you do a ctrl -f5 on the homepage to see if that fixes the issue?

the arrow next to forum doesn't work - my little finger clicking on it doesn't come on a screenshot for some reason

the arrow next to mse stuff doesn't work so I've no clue what it is in it

the small colored ones work when I hover around it like this

What is javascript, sorry. I haven't clicked on the control and funtion 5 buttons, I'm worried if it will clear all my cookies. I've filled in an online form and it would get deleted.

How about a news feed ticker across the top a la BBC website that has all the latest MSE news. Possibly even a downloadable desktop news ticker, so people never miss out. Are you considering an app for iPhone & Android for MSE, along the lines of a bar code scanner like Red Laser?

Just to update, Neil, the arrows are working now, it definitely wasn't working last night or this morning. I even wondered what Martin meant in his OP, the last sentence. Thanks.

And yes, that's a very helpful feature. Just that it is again a little gloomy looking like the tools on the footer though.

Editing to add: I cannot point out exactly whre because I was just playing around and felt that those arrows are indeed getting stuck in some pages you have navigated to. For example I tried to navigate from MSE stuff pages. It is struggling to prop up the pages or it could be a glitch.

I have put the new page through WAVE accessibility software and it has higlighted a lot of problems - perhaps soemthing that could be looked into so it is accessible for all with sight problems and using readers
