More poor Yodel service. Got home to find a delievery left on the door step. Luckily it was still there considering the door is straight onto the pavement. Would rather had to go to the depot to collect it. Next time I may not be so lucky.:beer:Member of Mortgage free in three. :beer:55. littlemonkeywolf. Reduce my mortgage0

Every Yodel experience I have had has been dreadful and every experience with their customer service has been horrendous. I don't know if it is just my local area, but they never come on the day they have said they would. Eg this week they were supposed to deliver an order on tues, the order according to tracking was 'could not reach consignee', which I know for a fact was not attempted and therefore obviously no card was left. Customer service informed me the depot would ring me, which never happened and then it randomly arrived today with the box open due to damage, although thankfully the product was still inside.
The ONLY reason I used a company that use yodel again is because they had offered me a refund voucher from the last mess up that occurred with Yodel, but if I can avoid it, I will never use a company that uses them again.
I understand that other people have had good experiences, but if you live in Lancashire I really would think twice before ordering something from companies where Yodel are the courier. I would also point out that it takes a lot for me to complain, but Yodel have been that appalling I can't help but respond to these threads with my experiences.0 -
I had Yodel deliver on a Saturday however when I phoned them as the order was supposed to be delivered AM and nothing had arrived they said they didn't deliver to my area on a Saturday. I got in touch with virgin (I was waiting for a new mobile phone) and they told me that they did deliver on Saturday and whatever they did I had the phone within the hour.
However!!!! I am awaiting an order from Amazon which has taken forever to be despatched in the first place. I checked Amazon website and they say the order has been delivered and left in the porch (funny that as we don't have one!!) went onto the Yodel site and they say the order has been left in authorised safe place (haven't authorised anything with Yodel!!). Phoned Yodel to see what is going on and they said I would need to phone Amazon and they will send another order out!!! They wouldn't even listen to me when I said can I check if it has went to the right address or delivered to a neighbour or something!!
Amazon have said to wait until tomorrow and if I don't receive the parcel they will send out a new one. How much must this be costing the likes of Amazon when Yodel's customer service wont even spend the time to check if a parcel has been delivered to the correct address!!:mad:0
