BBC are wrong, Peacocks vouchers null & void

Options
The BBC News page has had "Use your Peacocks Vouchers Now" headline flashed on their front page for the last few hours.

This is NOT correct.

Gift vouchers and gift cards are not being accepted.
The woman being interviewed referred to the Peacocks website, but clearly hadn't read it before the interview.

They stated yesterday that no vouchers are accepted.
They do now have a claim form to download on their website, but you'll be low down on the list as a creditor.

Stuart, there is nothing new here... unless you specifically want to tell us the BBC is wrong.

Why didn't you post on an existing Peacocks thread?

Like this one, which already has the link you posted.
  • If I see another thread whining about not being able to use the vouchers, I will actually scream! :D

Yes, I was highlighting the mis-reporting of this issue by the BBC.

There are many distressed and confused folk out there. Accurate information is important, so I was trying to highlight the report as inaccurate.

If these threads distress you, Matty, then please just ignore them. Many folk in receipt of a gift voucher from someone else are not to blame for either (i) their friend's choice of present or (ii) a company going into administration and they just need accurate help or advice.

And why didn't you post on an existing thread?
